Position: Plasma Table Operator Pay Rate/Range: $18-21 Description: Fabricators use Shear Table, Press Brake, Plasma Table machines to perform cutting, bending, forming, deflecting sheets of metal. Fabricator Operators (or programmers) are required to have 1-2 yrs. experience programming the press brake, operating the plasma table or laser equipment in a metal fabrication environment. Experience operating a CNC (computer numerical controls) plasma or laser is preferred. Fabricator Helpers (or assistants) can learn under supervision of an experienced operator with minimal experience given the ability to read tape measure and works efficiently following directions, memorizing part numbers in a teamwork-based environment. Job Requirements: 50lbs lifting material to build units, Non-Climate Controlled environment, must be able to work OT when needed, and should be able to read a tape measure, steel-toed boots.
