Position: Shipping and Receiving Specialist Pay Rate/Range: 14.50 Description: A shipping and receiving specialist is responsible for overseeing the delivery and distribution of materials and products in a manufacturing or retail environment. They manage the logistics of shipping and receiving, including processing incoming and outgoing shipments, verifying inventory quantities, and ensuring timely delivery and storage. The specialist may also operate various tools and equipment to move and handle packages, prepare shipping labels, and maintain accurate shipping records. In addition, they may collaborate with other departments and suppliers to resolve issues related to shipping or receiving and contribute to the development of best practices for logistical operations. Job Requirements: Ability to lift and carry 70lbs. Standing and Walking for 8-10-hour periods. Ability to work weekends, overtime, and Holidays.
