Position: Mig Aluminum Welder-19379 Pay Rate/Range: Entry Level - $19 - $22 Description: Primary functions of aluminum welding: Heat – wire speed – cup angle – travel speed (you must push forward; you cannot drag with this process). Every candidate will be assigned an experienced mentor/trainer. Position is a fitter welder. Step progressions from entry level – fitter- fitter/welder – level one through level 3. Structural welding. Equipment - Miller Power Supply & Cobra Matic – Push Pull Wire feeder Materials: - .125 Sheet Aluminum - .160 Sheet Aluminum - .249 Sheet Aluminum Positions: - Uphill - Downhill - Some Overhead - Multi Angle on most assembly parts Job Requirements: Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and do repetitive motion, bending and reaching within a 10-hour workday. Must be able to follow safety guidelines and retain instructions of position requirements. Job Type: Contract-to-Hire Shift/Schedule: 1st 7:00am to 3:45pm. When overtime is required 6:00am to 4:45pm.
