Position: Vessel Welder
Pay Rate/Range: $25
Description: We are seeking a skilled Vessel Welder to join our team. The Vessel Welder will be responsible for welding various components and structures in the fabrication and repair of vessels, including ships, tanks, and containers. The ideal candidate will possess expertise in welding techniques such as Shielded Metal Arc Welding (SMAW), Gas Metal Arc Welding (GMAW), and Flux-Cored Arc Welding (FCAW). The Vessel Welder will work with a variety of metals and alloys, ensuring the highest standards of quality, safety, and precision in all welding operations.
Job Requirements: Proven experience as a welder, with a focus on vessel fabrication and repair.
Weld Test Required.
Proficiency in SMAW, GMAW, and FCAW welding techniques
Ability to interpret blueprints, drawings, and welding symbols.
Familiarity with welding equipment and tools, including welding machines, grinders, and cutting torches.
Knowledge of welding safety procedures and best practices
Relevant welding certifications or qualifications preferred.

Shift/Schedule: 1st shift 6:00am-4:30pm Monday-Friday
