Position: CNC Machinist
Pay Rate/Range: $18-28 per hour
Description: A CNC (Computer Numerical Control) Machinist is a skilled professional who operates and maintains CNC machines to produce precision parts and components used in a variety of industries. The job involves interpreting blueprints, setting up machines, selecting and adjusting cutting tools, monitoring production runs, and troubleshooting machine errors.
Reading and interpreting technical drawings and specifications
Setting up and operating CNC machines to perform precision machining operations
Loading and unloading raw materials and finished parts
Selecting and adjusting cutting tools, machine speeds, and feeds
Monitoring machine operations and making necessary adjustments to maintain quality and productivity
Performing routine maintenance on machines, such as cleaning and lubricating parts
Troubleshooting machine errors and performing minor repairs as needed
Maintaining records of production runs and machine maintenance
In addition to technical skills, a CNC Machinist must have good problem-solving abilities, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team. They must also be able to work safely and follow established safety protocols. Strong math skills and knowledge of programming languages such as G-code are also important for this role.

Job Type: Contract-to-Hire/Direct Hire/Temporary
Shift/Schedule: 1st shift: 5:45am-4:15pm, Monday-Thursday, with occasional OT on Friday
2nd shift: 4:15pm-2:45am, Monday-Thursday, with occasional OT on Friday
