Position:  Department Supervisor

 

 

Pay Rate/Range:  $22/hr - $25/hr +

 

 

Description:    Supervise the production of Steel Leaf Springs, Commercial Mower Blades, Agricultural,

                            Industrial, and other products.  Employees will be fabricating steel leaf springs by

                            shearing, hole punching, forming, heat-treating, painting, shot peen blasting, powder

                            coating and assembly of springs.

 

 

Job Requirements:  Understanding the heat-treat process.  Ability to manage and assess production

                                    flow, problem solve, to re-assign employees within and to other departments as

                                    needed.  Familiarity with client product lines and specifications. Interdepartmental

                                    communication cooperation and collaboration.  Accurate recordkeeping and

                                    documentation, paperwork, filing and reporting.  Bilingual ability a plus but not

                                    required.

 

 

Job Type:  Contract-to-Hire

 

 

Shift/Schedule:  Flexibility with schedule and Department-specific shift times.  Early as 2:00am,

                              3:00am, and 4:00am until end of production, in high-heat summer months out by

                              1:00pm generally no later than 2:00pm
