DESCRIPTION: A Deburr/Grinder Operator is responsible for ensuring that metal parts, tools, and other products are smoothed and polished to eliminate any roughness or sharp edges. They operate tools and machinery to remove burrs, excess material, or other rough spots from metal, plastic, or other materials. This position requires an individual who has experience in operating deburring and grinding machines, hand tools, and other equipment. The candidate should possess critical thinking, problem-solving skills, and the ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and other technical documents. Job Requirements: o Inspect completed workpieces for smoothness, shape, and consistency. o Operate deburring and grinding machines, hand tools, and other equipment to remove excess materials and burrs. o Set up and adjust machines for optimal performance. o Perform daily maintenance and cleaning tasks on machines to ensure efficient operation. o Grind, sand or polish surfaces to remove any imperfections or rough areas. o Ensure that finished pieces meet quality standards and product specifications.
