Position: Valve Technician - 19479
Pay Rate/Range: $15-$16
Description: The Valve Technician's role involves hands-on maintenance, manual machining, welding, troubleshooting, and repair of valves, both in a workshop and at customer sites. They must possess basic manual machine skills, interact with customers for assessments and repairs, conduct PSV testing (if skilled), disassemble, and reassemble valves, ensure compliance with manufacturer specifications, read schematics, make recommendations for repairs, and prioritize safety through daily inspections.
Job Requirements: Must have a valid driver's license. Be able to use basic math skills, Microsoft Office, and interpret blueprints. Ability to lift up to 50 pounds. Past machine operation experience is a plus.
